Wanted to sincerely thank you with all of my heart and on behalf of my son for your companys EXCELLENT crew and work you guys perform. Your companys crew saved my sons mothers life this Saturday November 21, 2015, when she had a vehicle accident where you guys extracted her as the flames from the truck catching on fire were about to reach her, but the angels you guys are extracted her just in time. May God bless every member of KVFD as well as Parkesburg Police Deparment. Thank you sincerely, Matt and Dalton(5) McCormick.

I am very happy to see the conglomeration of the 4 community fire companies into one, this is a very smart and beneficial move for the good of the fire co.'s and the communities as well. Best of luck and prosperity in the future.

My daughter and I would come down and run a stand at the fair. Did you ever think of having a petting zoo or pony rides? I could try to find out who Kendal uses for their country fair. What about the ladies auxiliary maybe they could help make door prizes. Just a few suggestions.

What a great site. Brings back many memories. Would be great if there was a Archive File with years/active rosters, past Fireman of the Year and Junior Fireman of the Year recipants. Photos if available. As I get further away from my youth it is nice to go back and reminisce about the good times in our lives.

Rich, When your father wanted to buy this piece of apparatus he called me and asked if I thought it was a good buy. Compared to what you had it was an excellant buy and served you well. But we all know that she has outlived her days and has become a financial nightmare. With the consolidation coming I think that you guys are on the right track in purchasing a quint. Be diligent and get what we are all going to need. Don't act on impulse. There are some good products out there and we need what is going to serve the consolidation in the future. Good luck on your purchase. Jack2x2

I was just browsing the web trying to find my old Navy buddy Greg Budzik. We were on the USS Abraham Lincoln back in 1992 or so. We worked in Security together. My wife and I even made Greg an honorary Texan. I am glad to see he is doing well. Greg, if you see this, drop me a line. That baby that was born while we were deployed just graduated high school!! Feel old yet?
