Monday Night Training -Dodge Ball and Air Management Drills

Last night the active crew conducted a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) drill with members participating in a very spirited game of Dodge Ball while in full turn-out gear and "breathing air." Those that were "out" had to do jumping jacks or push-ups until the game concluded. The focus of the training was to become familiar with SCBA and to learn how to best manage your "air" while engaged in firefighting.
The training staff then reviewed the SCBA equipment and conducted related training. Fire police met to review past incidents while other members worked on administrative tasks.
