At 9:13 PD, KVFD was dispatched to a vehicle fire on Farm Lane off Gap-Newport Pike in West Sadsbury Township. The caller reported that a RV was on fire. The West Sadsbury PD arrived and advised that it was an unoccupied RV fully involved.

Ass’t Chief Klingler requested an tanker from Christiana Fire Co. to assist since there are no hydrants.

Ladder 8 arrived on-scene and deployed a hand line for fire suppression as Tanker 8 handled water supply. Crews extinguished the fire and allowed the fire marshals office to do their investigation.
