Tanker 8 Assisted On A Working Barn And House Fire In West Nantmeal Township

On October 18th, 2024, at 22:24 Tanker 8 was dispatched to assist the Twin Valley Fire Department in the 200 block of Isabella Road in West Nantmeal Township for a working house and barn fire.
Tanker 8 made the response to the scene and was advised by the Chester County 911 Center that their services would be needed to supply water to the fire scene. Tanker trucks that carry 2,000 gallons or more of water are needed due to rural area's having limited water sources sufficient enough to extinguish a fire. Tanker 8 arrived and shuttled 15,000 gallons of water to the scene from the supply area.
The fire was placed under control by Chief 69 at 00:36 and Tanker 8 was released from the scene at 01:33.
