On Saturday afternoon at 1:54 PM, KVFD, with Ambulance 46-1 from Lancaster County, was dispatched to an accident reported by On-Star to be involving two vehicles on Rt.#41 at Zook Road in West Sadsbury Township, Chester County. Initial reports were that there were unknown injuries.

Rescue 8, Utility 8, Tac 8, Chief 8 and Deputy 8 responded along with the West Sadsbury Township police, Deputy Chief Cazillo arrived and requested additional fire police from the Christiana Fire Company. Firefighters and EMT treated one patient who was transported by the Christiana ambulance to LGH, and assisted the police with traffic control and hazard clean-up.

The accident is under investigation by the West Sadsbury Township police.

All units were clear of the scene by 2:37 PM and the roadway was re-opended.
