On May 1st, 2024, at 06:02 am the Keystone Valley Fire Department was dispatched to Mcguigan Way in Parkesburg Borough for a reported gas leak inside.

Rescue, Tac, Traffic, Ambulance 8-1 all made the response and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the caller reported an odor of gas inside of her house. Keystone Valley Fire Department units arrived to find the house evacuated and personnel monitored the residents house using gas meters. Interior crews confirmed the slight odor of gas and a notification was made to Peco by the homeowner. Interior crews secured the gas service to the house until the arrival of Peco.

Keystone Vallley Fire Department units cleared the scene at 06:28 am.
