On June 1st, 2024, Keystone Valley Fire Department personnel participated in the 4th annual Go Bald with St. Baldrick's Event hosted by Uwchlan Ambulance Corps and Ludwiq's Corner Fire Company. The Event is a FUNraiser for the St. Boldrick's Foundation that supports cancer research for children and was coordinated by Andrew O' Donnell and Tammy Whiteman of Uwchlan Ambulance Corps. Participants had the option to shave their heads to a "crew cut" or opt to cut 8 inches off of their hair. The event also had Touch a truck, Food Trucks, and numerous events for children and attendees throughout the day. EMS Providers were also given the chance to earn EMS Continuing Education credits to go towards their respective certifications which was hosted by Uwchlan Ambulance EMS and Training Institute along with Main Line Health.
