On July 12th, 2024, at 2:42 the Keystone Valley Fire Department was dispatched for Tanker 8 to assist the Bart Township Fire Company with a 2-alarm barn fire.

Bart Township Fire Company units arrived to find a very large dairy barn well involved in fire and requested a 2nd alarm be struck for additional resources to assist at the scene. Due to the area not having sufficient water for suppression efforts tankers throughout Lancaster and Chester were called to the scene to assist with suppression efforts.

Tanker 8 shuttled roughly 12,000 gallons of water to the scene before being released by the command. Tanker 8 cleared Lancaster County at 6:35.
