On September 28th, 2024, at 10:59 am Keystone Valley Fire Department along with mutual aid from the Sadsburyville Fire Company were dispatched to the 300 block of commons drive in the West Sadsbury Commons shopping center for a fire alarm.

Ladder, Engine, Tac, Ambulance 8-1 and Rescue 31 made the response and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the alarm activated from a pull station on the premises.

Keystone Valley Fire Department and Sadsburyville Fire Company units arrived to find nothing showing from the exterior of the shopping center. Upon further investigation by the crews the alarm was determined to be faulty and was placed on a chief's notification. The situation was then turned over to the key holder.

All Keystone Valley Fire Department and Sadsburyville Fire Company units cleared the scene at 11:36 am.
