Accident With Entrapment In West Sadsbury Township

On April 10th, 2025, at 02:31 Keystone Valley Fire Department was dispatched to the 4000 block of West Lincoln Highway in West Sadsbury Township for an auto accident. A few seconds later the accident was being upgraded to possible entrapment which added Westwood Paramedic's to the assignment.

Keystone Valley Fire Department units along with Medic 344 made the response and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the caller reported a single vehicle versus a guardrail and the vehicle had heavy damage with 1 subject possibly trapped.

Ambulance 8-1 and Medic 344 were the first to arrive and confirmed 1 subject was trapped in the vehicle. Rescue, Tac, Utility 8 arrived and began extricating the patient from the vehicle. Chief 8 (Marks) arrived and held the command for the incident. The subject was freed from the vehicle and turned over to EMS for an evaluation. Rescue 8's crew and the support apparatus controlled the hazards on the vehicle while also sweeping debris from the roadway.

All Keystone Valley Fire Department units cleared the scene at 03:22.
