Did you know Keystone Valley Fire Department offer car seat checks free of charge?
Our Child Passenger Seat Technicians are certified via Safe Kids Worldwide, a nonprofit organization working to help families and communities keep kids safe from injuries.
Currently the Keystone Valley Fire Department have six Child Passenger Seat Technicians available to answer your questions and assist with installations and inspections.
The certification course encompassing four days of lectures and practical learning prepares first responders and the general public to ensure a child's safety seat is properly installed and safe for use. The certification cycle for technicians is two years with continuing education and a skills review required to renew the certification. Our technicians can inspect and assist in installation of your child's car seat right here at our station or come to your home based on location and availability.
Have a question about car seat safety or to schedule your 100% free appointment send an email to carseat@kvfd8.com.
