KVFD along with mutual-aid were dispatched for a vehicle fire in the area of 3000 block of Limestone Road in Highland Township. Deputy 27 (Lapp) was on-scene with a vehicle fully involved along with brush on fire and a shed. Deputy 27 established "Limestone Command" and advised Ladder 8 to arrive and assume FDE. The fire was spreading quickly across the property and was contained upon the fire department arrival.
Ladder 8 arrived on-scene and deployed handlines, with Tanker 27 supplying water. The assignment was scaled back to Station # 8, 27 units with the remainder being placed available.
Engine 33-5 relocated to KVFD to cover the District.
The incident is under investigation by the Chester County Fire Marshals Office along with Parkesburg Police.
