Accident Reported With Entrapment In Sadsbury Township

On July 25th, 2024, at 8:07 am Sadsburyville Fire Company along with Keystone Valley Fire Department EMS and Westwood Paramedic's were dispatched to the area of Independence Way and Lincoln Highway in Sadsbury Township for a reported auto accident with entrapment.
Sadsburyville Fire Company units along with responding mutual aid were advised by the Chester County 911 Center of a two vehicle accident with one vehicle reported to be overturned and one subject trapped inside. Medic 344 was the first arriving unit to confirm one vehicle overturned and one subject was confined in the vehicle by their seat belt.
Chief 31 (McCarthy) arrived and assumed command of this incident. Rescue 31 and Ambulance 8-1 arrived to assist the subject from the vehicle safely. Medic 344 was released from the scene by Ambulance 8-1's crew and Ambulance 8-1 transported one subject to an area hospital for their injuries which were sustained from the accident. Keystone Valley Fire Department fire police were requested to the scene to assist with traffic control.
Ambulance 8-1 cleared the call at 9:50 am.
