On October 15th, 2024, at 14:29 pm Keystone Valley Fire Department along with a Paramedic from the Westwood Fire Company EMS Division were dispatched to the unit block of E. Highland Road in Highland Township for an auto accident involving a motorcycle.
Keystone Valley Fire Department units along with Medic 344 responded to the scene and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the caller reported a vehicle versus a motorcycle with the subject down on the ground. Keystone Valley Fire Department units arrived to update the location of the accident to E. Highland and Old Racetrack Roads.
Ambulance 8's crew started care on 1 subject while Rescue 8's crew handled hazards on the vehicles and their crew also assisted with patient packaging. Keystone Valley EMS along with Medic 344 transported 1 subject to an area trauma center due to their injuries. The Sadsburyville Fire Company Fire Police were requested to the scene to assist with traffic control. Rescue 8 remained on the scene to assist the Pennsylvania State Police as they investigated the accident scene.
The final Keystone Valley Fire Department unit cleared the call at 17:09 pm.
