Please Join Us in Congratulating our Newest Certified Firefighter Ben Holmes!
Ben has successfully completed Essentials of Firefighting (Firefighter 1) training at the Chester County Public Safety Training Center.
Firefighter 1 is a 188-hour entry-level national certification course our firefighters must complete before they may fight fire inside a burning structure. In addition to learning the science and behavior of fire and various methods of fire suppression, recruits are also certified in hazardous materials operations, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid as well as several other certifications.
