On February 15th, 2025, at 07:40 Keystone Valley Fire Department was dispatched to the 3000 block of Leike Road in West Sadsbury Township for a chimney fire.

Engine, Ladder, Tanker, Ambulance 1, Traffic all made the response and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the caller reported heavy smoke coming from the chimney.

The local Fire Marshal 36 (Shescko) arrived and reported light smoke from the chimney. Deputy 8 (Cazillo) arrived and held the command for this incident. As the Keystone Valley Fire Department units arrived, they were given their assignments by the commander. Interior crews reported a coal burning stove with smoke and flames around the flue. The situation was mitigated quickly, and the incident was placed under control by the commander.

All Keystone Valley Fire Department units were clear of the call at 08:10.
