On February 19th, 2025, at 14:20 Keystone Valley Fire Department along with area mutual aid were dispatched to the 200 block of Old Limestone Road in Highland Township for a outbuilding fire.
Keystone Valley Fire Department and mutual aid made the response and was advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the caller reported a shed fully involved. Assistant 27 (Lapp) arrived and assumed command for this incident and advised that he had a 30x30 outbuilding fully involved.
Ladder 8 arrived, and their crew pulled a handline and began suppression efforts. Engine 27-2 arrived and deployed a 2nd handline to assist with suppression efforts as a shed was now starting to catch on fire. Ambulance 8-1 and Ambulance 8-2 arrived and stood-by while the fire personnel were actively extinguishing the fire. The fire was placed under control at 15:05 with all hands working. The commander scaled the assignment back to Keystone Valley Fire Department, Cochranville Fire Company, Christiana Fire Company, Honey Brook Fire Company.
A response was made by the Chester County and Local Fire Marshal's for an investigation of the fire. Once the investigation was complete by the fire marshal's crews worked to clean up hoses and equipment to leave the scene.
Command was terminated at 15:54 with all units clearing the scene
