Busy Saturday & start to the month of March. EMS and fire responded to nine incidents throughout the day.

KVFD was dispatched to assist Modena Fire Company and Mutual-Aid on-scene at a Brush fire in a highly dense area in Newlin Township, Chester County at 1430 hours.

Tac 8 responded for the 4x4 assist and Tanker 8 & Engine 8 responded to assist with water supply.

Crews operated on-scene for several hours assisting Station # 37.

While assisting Modena Fire Company on the brush fire, KVFD was dispatched to Lancaster County to assist Christiana Fire Company Station # 52 in Atglen Borough on a reported house fire. Ladder & Rescue 8 made the responses and were recalled enroute. Shortly after KVFD was dispatched once again in Lancaster County assisting Gap Fire Company Station # 41 in Salisbury Township Lancaster County @ 5901 Limeville Road for a working garage fire at 1637 hours.

Ladder 8 w/5 and Rescue 8 w/3 responded to assist Station # 42. Ladder 8 arrived as second due Aerial (Truck) assisting on-scene with fire suppression and ventilation. Rescue 8 joined the apparatus on the hard road and sent its crew to the scene.

Overnight PLT-8 assisted Modena Fire Company with operations overnight at the brush fire in Newlin Township.
