The Keystone Valley Fire Department is proud to announce the addition of a 2026 Ford Wheeled Coach Type 1 Ambulance to its fleet. This new ambulance will replace a 2019 Ford Wheeled Coach unit that has seen significant use, largely due to increased transport times and distances after the closure of the local hospital system several years ago.
The department acknowledges the financial support provided by the Keystone Valley Regional Fire District, which includes Parkesburg Borough, West Sadsbury Township, and Highland Township, as well as Sadsbury Township. Their contributions have ensured the continued delivery of high-quality emergency medical services and equipment to the Western Chester County community.
In the coming weeks, the new ambulance will have communications equipment installed and complete the necessary licensure. It is expected to be ready for service in the near future, strengthening emergency response capabilities in the area.
